Shapes and Conglomerates

A conglomerate of the classes shapes, formed and deformed into a face. I'm not sure how many different shapes I have use thus far, but I find it fun trying to adapt more and more shapes to fit my needs.

A series of live trace images from Illustrator, 4 are organic, and 4 are Industrial or mechanical.

  1. I like the face concept. And I kinda of like the white space too. Good start!

  3. i recognized right away that it's a face! I also like the color scheme. If you decide to construct a background, maybe you can play with the transparency so that it doesn't washout the face.

  5. Pretty interesting, it feels like a ghostly spirit or something. Overall, great job, I think if you play around with different colors it would be even more interesting.

  6. When I first looked at this I thought it was totally abstract until I made out an eye. I like the shapes you use as well as the negative space. Add in a subtle color to create highlights.

  7. I love the left eye, this is a great idea for this project. Maybe you could work with blurring to fill some of the blank space
